About Ketki Karanam

Indian biologist and technology entrepreneur Ketki Karanam is the co-founder and Head of Science at The Sync Project, a technology company that is developing a platform to scientifically measure and study the effects of music on health. Ketki harnesses those results to produce therapeutic solutions for people suffering from a variety of conditions, including Parkinson’s, pain, and anxiety. Ketki is also a Senior Associate at Puretech Health, a cross-disciplinary healthcare company and founding investor in The Sync Project. She completed her doctoral work at Harvard University in the Department of Systems Biology, where she focused on genomic instability in cancer cells.
